In response to the growing popularity of free streaming services like Tubi, Xumo, and Pluto, Sling TV has come up with Sling TV Freestream, an ad-supported version of its live TV and on-demand streaming service. There are three pricing plans – Standard, Standard with ads, and Premium – and the one you choose will determine the number of devices that you can simultaneously use to watch Netflix, in case you want to share the account with someone else. There are three plans, though pricing differs from region to region. First up is the Standard with ads plan, which allows you to watch on one device at a time. Upgrading to the Standard plan allows you to watch shows and movies, and download them for offline viewing, on up to 2 different devices at a time. The top-tier Premium plan lets you watch and download on up to 4 different devices, and comes with the options to watch videos in HD and Ultra HD. Once subscribed, you can watch movies and TV shows directly on your browser via Netflix.com. You also have the option of downloading the app on pretty much any mobile device, including iOS, Android, or Windows. The app also works on computers using Windows XP or later and Macs with OS X Tiger or later.

Amazon's premium membership program is an all-in-one bundle that includes access to the streaming platform Prime Video, more commonly referred to in this publication as “Amazon Prime.” A subscription entitles you not only to Amazon Prime's thousands of films and TV shows, but also to Amazon's delivery benefits, which include discounted fees, free shipping, and same-day delivery on select items. The membership bundle costs $14.99/month, but you can access the streaming service as a standalone for just $8.99. Depending on where you live, access to Amazon Prime might differ. If you live in the US, UK, or Germany, you have the option of paying a yearly or monthly subscription fee for an Amazon Prime account. Users from the US, UK, France, and Brazil likewise have access to Amazon Prime's sports content which, depending on the season, may include live and on-demand coverage of basketball, football, and baseball events. Meanwhile, people in countries where Amazon is not operating may only be able to access it from a browser. In addition to on-demand streaming, you can rent or buy titles that are not on the service or purchase add-on channels like HBO, Starz, and MLB.TV to watch on the Amazon Prime platform. And apart from Amazon devices, the app is available on any mobile device, including iOS, Android, or Windows. The app also works on Apple and Windows computers, a wide range of TVs, mobile devices, and gaming consoles.

Looking to keep your favorite shows at your fingertips, preserve access to live sports and news broadcasts, but still want to cut the cord? YouTube TV is the answer. At $73 a month it skews more expensive than other live streamers, you won’t be able to find a more extensive, all-inclusive package anywhere else.

Paramount+ with SHOWTIME (previously Paramount+ Premium) is mostly a Netflix-style streaming service, offering movies and TV shows on-demand like The Good Fight and Yellowstone. It gives you access to Live TV from CBS: CBS local channels, CBS News (CBSN), CBS Sports, ET live, and some live sporting events like NFL on CBS Live. It also offers on-demand access to programming from Comedy Central, MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Paramount Pictures, and Smithsonian Channel. As of 2023, it increased its monthly price to $11.99, but with that comes a significant upgrade: members now have access to all of Showtime's content, which includes movies and shows like Billions, Dexter, and Yellowjackets, as well as live coverage on sports including boxing, football, and MMA. Since Showtime shut down its standalone service in early 2024, this Paramount+ plan is now one of the few ways to watch Showtime without cable.

Dubbed "The Free Netflix," Tubi is one of the best options for streaming quality movies and TV shows online. The completely free, ad-supported service has one of the most extensive title lineups, plus it's compatible with most devices, making it an extremely popular option for cord-cutters. Though it has been noted to have a less than stellar resolution, most viewers don't mind due to its easy interface, constantly updated library, and of course free titles. Parents will also be glad to know that the service has parental control features.

Much like Tubi and Freevee, Crackle is a streaming service that offers hundreds of movies and TV shows for free. Some of the more considerable titles include network series like Shameless and Community, Hollywood hits like Mad Max: Fury Road, and small indies like Short Term 12. Granted, Crackle doesn't nearly have as many to offer as its competitors, and the ads are relentless, but it's still a worthy and penny-less alternative that fills in the gaps for any streaming needs you might have. It also plays on most major streaming devices, including gaming consoles PlayStation and Xbox.

With YouTube TV's entertainment bundle, you get three premium services for the discounted price of $30—that's $5 off compared to getting Max (without ads), Paramount+ with Showtime, and Starz separately. It may seem pricey, especially since you'll be paying it on top of YouTube TV's already costly subscription, but it could be worth it if you're looking to get a first-rate entertainment package. Max alone gives you access to HBO's critically acclaimed shows, Warner Bros.'s blockbusters, and Discovery's many wildlife features. But coupled with Paramount+ with Showtime and Starz, you get prestige dramas, trendy comedies, and insightful documentaries on top of all that, not to mention YouTube TV's unrivaled DVR storage feature and lengthy live channel list. It's a bundle tailor-fit for TV and film enthusiasts.

YouTube's Movies & TV storefront (not to be mistaken with YouTube TV) allows you to rent and purchase thousands of films and TV shows. You can pick from the latest blockbuster releases, foreign films, award-winning staples, beloved classics, and even pre-order titles that have yet to be available elsewhere. A big draw here is that YouTube is already everywhere—it's a tab on your browser, an app on your phone, a channel on your smart TV—so renting, purchasing, and later on accessing a title is as easy as entering your credit card or PayPal details. And as a bonus, YouTube also has a lineup of free movies it lets you watch with ads. Granted, they're not as big or new as their rentable titles, but there are gems like Moonstruck and Cooley High hidden in there somewhere. 

Now, some things to note before heading to the storefront: you must be 18 years or older to watch these titles, and while buying a movie or TV episode allows you to access them indefinitely, you have only 30 days to start viewing a rental. Once you've started watching it, you usually have about 48 hours until it expires, but this can vary per title. YouTube also allows playback in HD and 4k, but these features are currently unavailable on web browsers. 

For the first time, Apple TV+, Peacock, and the usually deal-shy Netflix are partnering to create an affordable bundle exclusively available to Xfinity customers. Called the Xfinity StreamSaver, the bundle combines Peacock and Netflix's ad-supported plans with Apple TV+ for just $15/month, which is 30% less than the actual price of subscribing to them individually. Of course, each platform has its own set of popular originals, from Ted Lasso to The Traitors to Bridgerton, but this bundle is also a plus for live sports fans who'll get access to MLB on Apple TV+, Premier League and Big Ten on Peacock, and starting 2025, WWE and NFL on Netflix. You might have to cancel your current subscription to Peacock to enjoy this bundle, but you're free to use your login credentials for AppleTV+ and Netflix. Since the lowest Xfinity plan goes for $20/month at the moment, total bundle prices start at $35/month.

Similar to the Amazon Prime membership, Walmart+ brings together shopping and streaming into one convenient subscription for $13/month. Apart from free shipping, fuel discounts, and travel-related cashback, subscribers get Paramount+ Essential at no additional cost. The Essential plan, valued at $6/month, gives you access to Paramount originals, CBS shows (but not your CBS local station), and NFL matches. To enjoy this bundle, you'll have to cancel your current account and make a new one with Walmart+. But if you're on the fence about it, that's okay too; Walmart offers a 30-day free trial, no credit card info needed.

If you're a T-Mobile customer, you've likely already heard of the phone service's "Netflix on Us" bundle. Depending on your T-mobile plan, you're eligible for a Netflix subscription at no additional cost, regardless of the streamer's price hikes. The most common Netflix plans it provides customers with are the Netflix Basic subscription (valued at $10/month), which is ad-free and available to watch on a single device, and the Netflix Standard subscription (valued at $16/month), also ad-free and available to watch on two devices. T-Mobile says you can upgrade your phone plan to get a free Netflix Premium subscription. Eligible T-Mobile plans start at $100/month with a single line of the Go5G Next, Go5G Plus, or Magenta MAX plan.

Stirr is an American ad-supported streaming service owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group. It was launched in 2019. Not only is it free, but it provides access to live local news, 120+ TV shows, and 8,000+ hours of on-demand movies. This service is for viewers who don’t want to commit to a cable fee and don’t mind intermittent ads when watching their favorite movies and shows.

Exclusive to Spectrum internet users, Spectrum TV Stream is a live TV cord-cutting service that costs $40/month. It's cheaper than Spectrum's other TV plans, but that's because it doesn't carry sports and local channels—only news and entertainment. Some of the more notable ones include Disney, CNN, Fox, AMC, Discovery, and for classic Hollywood fans out there, the elusive TCM. It may not seem like much, especially when you compare it to similarly priced packages like Sling Orange, which for the same price covers sports, but it could be an attractive option for Spectrum users looking to pay for everything under one bill and who only need select cable channels to get their TV fix.

Spectrum TV Latino is a live TV streaming plan that Hispanic customers of Spectrum Internet can either purchase as a standalone or add to an existing Spectrum Stream TV plan. Unlike the latter, however, Spectrum TV Latino has sports channels, including beIN Sports en Español and TUDN. Other notable channels include Univision, Bandamax, UniMás, Discovery en Español, and in select markets, Telemundo. The package is $25/month (excluding tax) and is compatible with major streaming devices, though it might not work as well on Sony and Amazon Fire TVs.

For French expats in the US, the Sling TV French Pack covers all the bases from back home. To name a few, it has TV5Monde, beIN Sports, and France 24 for news, live sports, entertainment, lifestyle, and kid-friendly content. The French Pack also gives you access to TV5MONDEplus so you can watch films and TV shows on-demand. Like all the other international packs, you don't have to purchase a Sling base plan to get the French Pack; you can pay for it as a standalone for $15/month or at a discounted $150/year. You could bundle it with Sling Orange + Blue, but note that the French Pack already comes with 600 free live channels via Sling Freestream. You can try the French pack for free for 7 days.

Sling TV's Desi Pack features both live and on-demand content from channels like Star Plus, SonyLIV, and notably for sports fans, Willow TV. They’re available in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam and they come in two tiers: Desi Binge, which is $10/month and excludes sports channel Willow, and Desi Binge, which is $15/month and includes Willow TV and its HD counterpart. Like all Sling TV international packs, the Desi pack allows for 3 simultaneous streams. 

The Sling Ala Keifak pack is one three Arabic live TV plans Sling offers. It carries 80 live channels spanning sports, news, entertainment, and music. There are channels from Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, and the greater pan-Arab region. The Ala Keifak pack costs $17.99/month, but Sling also offers the much cheaper Al Maalem add-on if you're on a budget and the more expensive Al Ostoura add-on if you're willing to shell out for more channels. The Ala Keifak pack also has on-demand titles from LBCI, ART Aflam, and Sling's own catalog of Arabic films. You can order Sling TV’s Arabic plans ala carte, but if you’d like more US channels, then you can stack it on top of base Sling Orange or Blue plan.

This powerhouse bundle combines Prime Video's extensive catalog with Max's award-winning titles, classics from the WB vault, Starz's original series, and blockbuster films. It's one of the best bundles a movie and TV fan can get, and the best part is it's discounted at just $20.99/month. Or maybe the best part is that this combines all three services' ad-free tiers, giving you uninterrupted quality content at an affordable price. So in short, you get a 25% discount, zero ads, streamlined viewing (watch everything on Prime's platform), and some of the most critically and commercially acclaimed titles to hit the screen. We'd say that's a deal right there. The only downside is the bundle will only be available for a limited time; Prime Video might put it down at any given time.

PBS channels around the country are free on television, and thanks to the PBS app, they're now free to stream as well. The PBS app gives you on-demand access to many of the network's famously educational shows, including Nova and PBS News Hour, as well as the nearest local station in your area. You don't need an account to start watching on the PBS app, although you might have to activate it beforehand. Again, PBS is free, but if you want to support your local PBS station and gain extended access to even more films and TV shows, then you can purchase a PBS Passport membership, which costs around $5/month or $60/year.

A subscription to NFL+'s premium tier costs $15/month and comes with NFL Redzone. That means apart from getting access to the NFL Network and digital exclusives, you also get to watch every Sunday afternoon game during the regular season via Redzone, as well as replay all-22 coaches games and access advanced stats on your favorite players. The kicker is that live local and primetime games are still only available on mobile devices due to blackout restrictions (nothing an antenna can't fix), but everything else, including Redzone and replays, can be viewed on major streaming devices. Users have reported that the app tends to go wonky, especially on Apple TVs and older versions of the Xbox, but if you don't mind those issues, this bundle will be perfect for hardcore football viewing.

Good news for Verizon mobile and home internet customers: you're eligible to bundle two of streaming's powerhouse players, Netflix and Max, for just $10/month. Verizon's Netflix + Max bundle includes both of the streamers' ad-supported plans, which go for $7 and $10 respectively, and shaves more than 40% off their usual price. Not only is this package a steal, it's also a rare move on Netflix's part, which isn't usually too keen on bundles. The Netflix + Max is also stackable, meaning you can pair it with another $10-bundle from Verizon (we suggest the Disney-Hulu-ESPN bundle to get the most out of the discounts). This bundle is available to Verizon customers on the Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, or Unlimited Ultimate plans, which start at $75/month, and the Fios and 5G Home plans which start at $35. Just don't forget to enroll in the provider's myPlan subscription first.

The Netflix + DirecTV Stream Bundle lets you link your Netflix account to your DirecTV Stream account so you can receive a single bill (from DirecTV) for both subscriptions. For now, the bundle doesn't offer discounts, nor does it integrate Netflix on the DirecTV Stream app. It's also only available to those subscribed to Netflix's premium account. Still, the bundle is handy for those who already have too many bills to worry about, so if you've been wanting to streamline your entertainment apps, then this offer is worth checking out.

For Verizon postpaid wireless subscribers, Verizon is offering a unique bundle that allows you to get Netflix Premium free for a year if you subscribe to Masterclass via Verizon's +play platform. An annual Masterclass subscription costs $120/year, but if you use +play, you only need to pay $90/year or $7.5/month for the service. In other words, it's a Buy 1 Get 1 Free deal that can save you more than $200 in annual costs. If you were on the cheapest Verizon plan ($30/month), this bundle would cost you $37.5/month more or less. The bundle is part of Verizon's attempt to draw in users to their +play platform, which is an online service that helps you manage multiple subscriptions in one neat place. Notably, you can't directly watch or pay for streaming services on +play, but it regularly offers discounts, so it's worth checking out. Before making big purchases, however, make sure you read through Verizon's FAQs and terms and conditions here.

The Netflix and Starz Bundle by Verizon +Play gives you access to Netflix Premium (currently $22.99/month) and Starz ($10.99/month) for just $25.99/month. That's $7 in monthly savings, or up to $240 in annual costs. If you have an existing Starz or Netflix account, you can link it to this offer and transfer your billing to +play. The +play platform is an online hub that centralizes subscriptions so you can access them all in one neat place. At the moment, it's only available to Verizon postpaid, 5G Home, and LTE Home customers. Since the cheapest Verizon plan at the moment costs $30/month, this bundle will cost you a total of about $55.99/month.

One of the many deals offered by Verizon's +play platform is the Netflix & NFL+ bundle, which is exclusively available to Verizon postpaid mobile, 5G Home, and LTE Home customers. The bundle combines Netflix Premium ($22.99/month) and NFL+ Premium ($14.99) and offers it at just $99.99 for an entire year, or $8.3/month! After that period, you'll be charged the regular prices of the services on top of your Verizon plan unless you cancel. If you're on the cheapest mobile plan ($30/month), this could mean paying a total of $38.3/month for your phone bill, Netflix, and NFL+ for a year. In case you didn't know already, Netflix Premium allows you to watch ad-free on up to four devices, with NFL+ has everything from all-22 coaches films to NFL Redzone. If you already have a Netflix subscription bought outside of the +play platform, Verizon allows you to transfer your billing to avail of this deal. If you did buy a subscription on the +play platform, however, you might have to wait till the end of your billing cycle before you can sign up for this deal. Existing NFL+ subscriptions can't be transferred to +play or linked to this bundle.

Remember those thrashy (but fascinating!) films that would air on TV late into the night, long after the proper programs had their run? Those titles have found a new home in Midnight Pulp, a free streaming service that lets you watch films and TV shows on-demand and live. It specializes in the weirdest content you can imagine; whether that's a 1960s Star Trek knockoff, a B-movie erotica, or a laughable monster flick, they likely have it here. With Amazon Prime's Max Cinemax bundle, you get access to all three of the streamers' unique films and TV shows and pocket $4.99/month in savings. That's because the bundle offers Max Ad-free ($15.99/month) and Cinemax ($9.99/month) for just $20.99, in addition to your current Amazon Prime subscription. Some notable titles include House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, and every other HBO show you can think of, as well as the latest blockbusters on Cinemax. Like most bundles, this one also conveniently charges you under one bill, under Amazon, and you can cancel it anytime you want.
